UPDATED Covid Statement

IAAT Updated Covid Statement – 13 January 2021

As we are now half way through the second week of our third lockdown, we have taken the opportunity to review the guidelines we set out at the beginning of last week.

Our main concern has always been the safety of our members and to this end, we are therefore advising that any cases considered to be welfare are the only ones that should be seen.  Any routine, maintenance or competition care cases should be postponed for the time being.

Whilst undertaking these visits, you must continue to complete a pre-visit risk assessment.  If the client has symptoms of Covid or has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, you must rearrange the appointment.  Government guidelines for self isolation is now 10 days.

Keep to all social distancing rules wherever possible and use appropriate PPE.  Make sure you are consistent with washing your hands and are sanitising where appropriate.

As before, if you are experiencing any difficulty or if you just need to talk to someone, we are here for you all.  Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe.
