Rehab of Canine Iliopsoas, Groin & Hamstring

A popular CPD event, run by Alan Gardner of Smart Paws Physio.

Injuries that are relatively common for performance dogs include iliopsoas / groin, hamstring and gracilis strains. Additionally, issues in these areas can lead to compensatory problems leading to sub-optimal spinal alignment. This workshop will propose electro, massage and mobilisation therapies for treating both primary and secondary issues. Additionally we look at a case study with a focus on using the stance analyser to evaluate weight distribution and best-practice techniques for addressing underlying issue.

The recommendations presented are based on actual case studies and therefore have been proven in application.

Attendance on this day costs £85.
